Job Summary The Cycle Counter Clerk is responsible for tracking inventory of various materials; finding the root causes for inventory discrepancies and accurately recording inventory counts in the system. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: - Counts and tracks physical inventory - Maintains accurate records of counts and frequency of counts - Communicates any variances or inventory discrepancies to management - Records inventory counts in the accounting system - Investigates any inventory discrepancies and document any corrections - Ensures accuracy of the information in the system and compliance with internal controls - Prepares various reports and correspondence as required - Performs other duties as required Qualifications: Hourly/Salary Pay Range : $19.00 - $22.00 an hour dependent on experience* *pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living - High school diploma - Minimum one year of experience in inventory control or related area - Working knowledge of inventory internal controls, and company procedures - Working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook - Basic knowledge of lumber math, lumber grades and species - Preferred understanding of company policies, practices...
