Custodian Lead Middle School - ( 260000NC ) Description Job Overview The Custodian Lead Middle School will oversee the supervision, plans, assignments and review the work of the custodial staff while performing moderate to heavy cleaning and custodial task. This incumbent will be responsible for planning, scheduling, assigning, supervising and coordinating all cleaning and custodial activities at the assigned location. Position Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Administrative and Leadership: - Plan, schedule, assign, coordinate, and supervise the work of a moderate-sized group of custodial employees engaged in various cleaning and custodial activities - Coordinate, supervise and assist in set up furniture for school and facility rentals - Train custodial staff in proper work methods and procedures, proper use of equipment, materials and supplies, and on expected levels of performance - Assign equipment, materials and supplies; order and maintain an inventory of cleaning materials and supplies - Keep records and prepare reports of work accomplished and materials used - Meet and confer with school personnel regarding custodian activities - Plan and conduct safety mee...
