Overview Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation Plano, TX: Physical Therapist (PT) PRN: Acute care: PRN Rate: $60/hr: Weekend PRN rate: $66/hr: We strive to provide our employees with a solid work-life balance, as we understand that happy employees have both fulfilling careers and fulfilling lives beyond our doors. Responsibilities: Minimum PRN requirements: 2 weekend shifts of availability per month as well as availability on/around 1 winter and 1 summer holiday. Acute care experience preferred. - Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment - Timely and accurate documentation - Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports - Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately - Promoting continuous quality improvement - Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed Qualifications: #BSWIR- Inpatient - Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required. - Certified BLS or completion in the first 90 days of employment required. - Candidate must be willing to work Friday - Monday.
