Job description

Job Title: Asphalt Paver Equipment Operator Summary: The Asphalt Paver Equipment operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment on a construction jobsite in a safe manner. Asphalt Paver Operators will work with GPS systems including Leica and Trimble. The asphalt Paver Equipment Operator must also complete prestart checks, assist with fluid checks and maintenance, securing the equipment, cleaning, and other duties directed by the Foreman or manager. Qualifications: - Operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to the company policy, as well as manufacturers’ guidelines. - Performing daily maintenance and safety checks. - Cleaning equipment as required. - Ensuring that equipment is secured at the end of the shift. - Must foster harmonious interactions and relationships and maintain basic standards of civility in the workplace. - Upholds acceptable attendance. - Is a productive team member that supports the team by going and assisting where needed. - Complies with all applicable safety, environment, health and waste management policies and procedures. - Ability to handle a great deal of stress over long periods of time.
