City : Avondale State : Louisiana (US-LA) Country : United States (US) Requisition Number : 44820 A Day in the Life: The Multi-Craft Mechanic safely performs mechanical and electrical maintenance activities to ensure proper operation of plant machinery, equipment, buildings, and grounds to increase reliability and overall quality of production. Position Details: The current schedule for this role is day shift, Monday through Friday. Occasionally, overtime work is required to include nights, weekends, holidays, and call-ins. The starting hourly wage is $36.05 per hour. What You’ll Be Doing: - Demonstrates a commitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements. - Repairs and replaces PLC equipment, tanks, pumps, motors, heat exchangers, agitators, boilers, air compressors, valves, pipelines, and other plant equipment - Fabricates and welds piping, pipe fittings, equipment, and machinery - Conducts preventative and predictive maintenance tasks - Troubleshoots issues with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems - Performs laser a...
