Description Assistant or Associate Professor, Non-Malignant Hematology, on the Clinician Scholar pathway The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) and the University of Washington (UW) are jointly recruiting a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level without tenure due to funding (WOT), in the Clinical Research Division of the Fred Hutch (primary appointment) and the Division of Hematology and Oncology, Department of Medicine at the UW (joint appointment). Specific rank at the University of Washington will be commensurate with experience and qualifications as generally described in UW’s Faculty Code Section 24-34 . University of Washington Assistant Professors WOT are eligible for multi-year appointments and Associate Professors WOT hold indefinite appointments that both align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.
