Job description

Job Summary: Responsible for the safe operation of a specific piece of equipment used in the manufacturing of components and/or finished products for internal and external customers as defined by a daily production schedules. Position Scope: Maintains daily communication with Quality Control, Department Manager, and other employees in the department to ensure the needs of all internal and external customers as outline by the production schedule are met. The position works in a normal manufacturing environment with exposure to temperature changes. Skills/Requirements: Education: Major duties and responsibilities of the job can be satisfactorily performed with a high school education or GED. Experience: On the job training is provided, prior machine experience is a plus. Minimum Qualifications: Basic computer knowledge and the ablility to use computerized equipment in daily operations. Ability to work flexible hours and overtime. Must have have basic reading, writing, and math skills. Must have the ability to read and interpret a tape measure.
