Job Overview: Provides the resources to procure and expedite the delivery of parts to meet expected demand and replenishment requirements, improving overall availability and minimizing backorders. Key Job Responsibilities: Responsible for expediting non-stock and stock backorders as well as ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet distributor requirements. Accountability to identify supplier deficiencies and recommend actions for improvement to team management, including supplier leadtime inaccuracies and any other issues that may affect overall availability goals. Responsible for achieving supplier performance metrics and making fact-based decisions on supplier overtime, as well as managing a proportional share of premium freight budget. Additional responsibility to collaborate with planners to ensure proactive coverage of expected requirements, including demand, kits, firm future orders, etc. Qualifications/Requirements: · Seasoned general business or industry experience.
