Job description

SSI needs to add an experienced Logistician to support our current list of services provided for the U.S. Navy. This position is established in support of the Direct and Time Sensitive Strike Program Office , PMA-242, and your duties will include ILS support for the AARGM-ER Program . PMA-242 is responsible for the acquisition, development, and sustainment of direct and time sensitive strike weapons. Your key duties will be to: - Assist the Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (APML) and Product Support Manager (PSM) with logistics support tasks including development, procurement, and life cycle sustainment. - Perform technical research assignments, manages equipment, drafts technical reports, and responds to other miscellaneous requests. - Utilize extended technical training and experience in one or more technical fields which have resulted in a complete grasp of specialized and complex subject matter in which the incumbent is considered a technical resource within the work group. - Guidelines may be nonexistent, and the specialist may be required to develop new methodology and procedures which extend existing knowledge and result in methods and procedures for others to follow....
