Job description

Description Work will include providing grant, project, and technical assistance to water systems located in the Mojave area located in San Bernardino County California. The work will target disadvantaged communities who lack the resources available to successfully design and implement proper water solutions. Part-time 10-15 hours a week. Must live close to Mojave in San Bernardino County. 1. Technical Assistance : Assist entities by providing resources to resolve any water issues to become compliant with changing regulatory requirements. Topics can include establishing new rate schedules, setting up proper testing methods, understanding changing and complex government regulations, and training on operator certification requirements. Water topics/activities may include: · Meeting with water systems and local agencies to provide support and assistance dependent on the system needs. · Meeting with local regional board and staff regarding potential water projects. · Liaison between project entities, funding entities and regulators. 2.
