Reporting to the Surgery Department Manager, this position requires clinical knowledge, organizational efficiency, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. The Surgery Scheduler ensures proper documentation, timely scheduling, and coordination with patients, providers, vendors, and facilities to maintain a seamless surgical experience. What You’ll Do: Scheduling & Coordination: Contact patients within 24 hours of receiving surgery orders. Schedule procedures with the provider, facility, anesthesia, and vendors as required. Complete all pre-operative documentation including scheduling forms, consents, H&Ps, and disclosures. Confirm surgery details with patients and communicate pre- and post-op instructions.
