Department: Status: Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: 1st shift (7a-3:30p), 2nd shift (3pm-11:30p), 3rd (11p-7:30a) Locations: flexibility: Wake Forest Baptist (Main Campus), Outpatient (Cloverdale), High Point, Davie, Wilkes, Lexington, Hugh Chatham Pay Range: $24.10 - $36.15 Major Responsibilities: - Oversees orientation and training of all new employees and continuing education for all employees. - Demonstrates expert skill and knowledge in central sterile processing, incorporating developmental, cultural and ethical considerations. Acts as a resource for staff members. - Provides education to staff on regulatory standards and compliance, current clinical practice issues, and safety standards. - Maintains and updates all orientation manuals and skills checklists. - Creates individualized training plan for all new employees. Conducts weekly assessments of new employees and adjusts orientation training schedule as needed. - Assesses competency of preceptorsto ensure they have the knowledge and skill to assist with orientation of new employees. - Provides re-education to employees as performance issues arise. - Coordinates in-servic...
