Fluidra is seeking a Value Steam Supervisor to join the team at our SR Smith location in Portland TN. WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE Operations - Use Lean Principles to formulate strategies resulting in on-time shipments and an increase in productivity. - Communicate daily manpower planning to Operations Manager. - Initiate cross training amongst all employees. - Use basic disciplinary methods to assure fairness and consistency to all manufacturing employees. - Monitor employee conformity to safety laws and policies. - Communicate daily strategy to Operations Manager and Planner. - Have ownership of the manufacturing floor regarding material presentation and 5S for all areas. - Assist with incorporating proper manufacturing layouts. Safety: - Make certain all individuals that are on the manufacturing floor have the proper PPE. - Assure all safety practices are followed throughout each manufacturing process. - Suggest solutions, improvements and prevention steps for safety issues. - Training, motivating, coaching and correcting employees to ensure that standards are met. - Inspect equipment and chemical usage for unsafe workplace conditions. - Formulate strategies to increase safety while...
