Staff Accountant SUMMARY: The Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting in the general accounting functions and will be responsible for monitoring daily cash positions and performing monthly general ledger account reconciliations. Responsibilities: - Daily cash management – monitoring the cash position in multiple banks, sending approved wires/ach as well as setting up wire templates, addressing positive pay, and ensuring activity is being recorded on the ledgers. - Analyze and reconcile inter-company activity. - Prepare month-end standard and miscellaneous journal entries, supported with proper documentation. - Responsible for assigned general ledger account balances through proper account analysis including the reconciliation of sub-ledger information. - Assist with special projects and requests. - Oversee vendor maintenance. - Oversee the expense report process. - Oversee the P-card program.
