Day - 08 Hour (United States of America) This is a Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley job. Job Summary: The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for formulating the policies, managing, directing, and coordinating all services and programs of the department of Pharmacy. S/he accomplishes this by developing, organizing, and implementing programs and policies necessary to manage and control all Pharmacy services and assure quality distributive and clinical pharmacy services are provided to the Hospital. Actions of the Director of Pharmacy Services are subject to compliance with Hospital policies and procedures, JCAHO standards, and applicable State and Federal civil codes, and various State and Federal regulatory agencies. S/he is also responsible to continuously assess work environment and processes to identify safety risks and address safety issues identified or brought forward by staff, and resolve as appropriate.
