Overview The Dermatology clinic is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team! This position is 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday; no nights, weekends, or holidays. Some responsibilities of the LPN in dermatology include but are not limited to: Apply today and a recruiter will reach out to discuss this exciting opportunity! - Assist dermatologists with skin examinations, procedures, and treatments such as biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and laser treatments. - Prepare patients for exams and procedures by gathering medical history, vital signs, and reviewing concerns. - Administer medications and provide wound care under physician direction. - Educate patients on post-procedure care, skincare routines, and prescribed medications. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. - Ensure cleanliness, sterilization, and organization of exam rooms and instruments. - Assist with monitoring and management of the medical supply inventory. - Participates in staff meetings. - Performs other duties as required or assigned.
