City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift: Rotating Overview: Senior HVAC Mechanic The Sr HVAC Mechanic is experienced in all phases of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating and assists the leadership (Shop Lead, Supervisor, Manager, and Director) with daily operations, coordination of work, quality and service, achievement of goals and objectives, customer satisfaction, and in meeting regulatory requirements. This individual serves as the technical resource for other team members through participation in quality control and improvement activities, staff development activities, and provides daily support to team members. The Senior HVAC Mechanic also helps leadership with facilitating and monitoring the work process of designated teams, including internal construction and maintenance projects. Candidate must be proficient with direct digital controls (DDC) and experienced in all phases of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating. This individual inspects, repairs and maintains HVAC systems in addition to maintaining parts, supplies and equipment.
