Job description

Responsibilities This position is responsible for taking orders for blood products, services and commercially prepared plasma derivatives. Prepares orders for delivery. Performs final product inspection prior to shipment. Assists with the organization of inventory. Assure the compliance of the Distribution Department with CBC's quality system requirements. Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Essential Functions: - Upholds a customer service level that ensures every attempt is made to meet the following internal and external customer needs: friendliness, understanding and empathy, fairness, options and alternatives, and information. - Monitors and acknowledges orders via on-line ordering system. - Receives incoming calls. Handles all communication in courteous and professional manner. - Classifies and processes orders according to urgency. Arranges for appropriate transportation. - Accurately selects and processes units requiring product modification.
