Material Handler - 2nd Shift Department: Shipping/Receiving: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Liberty, SC: Reporting To: Tim Hanna: Description: The Material Handler performs production replenishments of parts and supplies accurately and on time. How You Will Help: Duties and Responsibilities: - Responsible for picking orders for production and delivering those orders to the appropriate department in a timely manner - Operates a handheld scanner to scan barcodes and accurately delivers materials to the production floor - Reviews pick list and picks appropriate material for specific work centers - Operates forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker and other loading/stacking equipment - Responsible for daily inspection of forklifts and performs on-spot checking - Performs daily cycle count checks and accurately report results - Responsible for putting away incoming material to appropriate stocking locations - Maintains and organizes warehouse storage including pallet consolidation and cleanliness of aisles - Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment a...
