About the role We’re hiring a Product and R&D Finance leader at Hex. This role has a heavy focus on monetization, product-led-growth, and the drivers behind our gross margins. You’ll sit at the intersection of our product strategy and the financial model, analyzing pricing changes and new product launches, and guiding the business towards scalable unit economics. You’ll be the lead finance partner to our Product, Engineering, and Infra leaders, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. What you’ll do: - Own forecasting and planning for AI and Self Serve revenue, including the implications of usage-based pricing and model cost dynamics. - Model pricing and packaging scenarios. Bring a point of view on tradeoffs, and help the team understand what matters and what is noise. - Establish and run Self Serve ARR planning and forecasting with clear assumptions, partnering with both Product and Growth Marketing teams. - Build a visible, regular forecast for COGS and gross margins, including the drivers of inference and cloud spend, and how they relate to product and GTM decisions. - Own R&D headcount planning.
