About Ascent Ascent is a wholly Australian, veteran-owned company, established in 2016 to provide professional engineering, project management and integrated logistics support services for our customers in the Defence, intelligence, security, and related industries. We support Australia’s defence capability by deploying expert engineering consultants into high-impact environments with a core specialisation in Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO), Aircraft Structural Integrity (ASI), acquisition, sustainment, research and development. We are the largest industry supplier of Explosive Ordnance (EO) engineers to the Department of Defence (DoD). About the Role: Ascent is hiring for multiple Weapons Engineering opportunities across Australia, including Canberra, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney. The successful candidate will be working closely with Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Group (GWEOG) in supporting Australia’s GWEO capability.
