Responsibilities: Develop modernization plans/changes for the US Navy Deep Submergence Assets and Support Systems Perform mechanical, electrical and/or structural analysis Evaluate components and materials and systems to ensure system integration, compatibility and stability Some travel will be required: Work will be in support of US Navy Submarines, Submersibles or Deep Submergence projects Qualifications: Required: Electrical / Mechanical / Systems / Ocean engineering degree from an ABET Accredited College/University (other degree disciplines may be considered) Professional engineering experience performing complex engineering calculations such as heat transfer, fluid flow, piping stress, mechanical stress...
