Job description

OBJECTIVE: Data Engineer Objective: To build, manage, optimize, and assist in the design of data pipelines in support of information, analytics, and strategic business needs across the enterprise. RESPONSIBILITIES: Data Engineer Responsibilities: Identify and understand source data systems and data flow between systems. Recognize changes in those systems and assess impacts on data pipelines. Adapt data pipelines to accommodate modifications triggered by source system changes or business requirements. Work closely with other IT or business personas while participating on projects. Demonstrate proficiency in understanding requirements and assist the team by offering expertise on data-related technical issues. Provide continuous updates on progress to project stakeholders, as well as issues or dependencies that put milestones at risk. Communicate efficiently, both written and verbally. Ask clarifying questions when needed and demonstrate teamwork and collaboration with the project team to ensure deliverables meet expectations.
