Leidos seeks Configuration Management Specialist to support NASA’s Network and Telecommunications organizations in Huntsville, AL Job Description: Provide proactive strategic management of IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes, policies, procedures, and configuration management system. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves IT service management problems and situations associated with the configuration management system and the ITAM process and acquisition procedures. Applies expert IT service management knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. Manages the process that identifies changes, and records/reports the implementation status of ITAM configuration items (CI). Primary Responsibilities: As a configuration management specialists perform change and/or configuration management roles. Applies advanced knowledge of concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. Provides configuration management planning. Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.
