Job Description: Position Summary: The Mortgage Loan Officer will assist members to understand their goals and recommend mortgage loan products that best meet their needs and financial goals. The incumbent will gather and evaluate all necessary preliminary financial information, submit complete loan applications, communicate with the member throughout the process, and build and manage relationships with potential business affiliates to gain leads and opportunities in target markets to further credit union growth. Primary Responsibilities and Duties: 1. Present a professional image and demeanor when representing the Credit Union. 2. Responsible for meeting minimum production and individual goals, as defined by the sales manager. 3. Develop and manage a sales plan to generate new business opportunities. 4. Develop and manage long-term relationships with local realtors, builders and other community partners. 5. Develop relationships with branch managers, internal business partners, and other team members to cultivate business with existing and potential referral sources. 6.
