Department: Food and Nutrition Schedule/Status: Varies Full Time: Standard Hours/Week: 40: General Description: Under the direct supervision of the Patient Services Manager and Food Service Supervisors, position is responsible for cleanup and sanitation of the department by following specific protocols. Responsible for sanitizing trays, dishware, utensils, pots and pans, cleaning floors and removing garbage from the operation. Position retrieves patient trays from hospital units for return to the food and nutrition department following meals. The position shall exemplify the desired Culture of Choice® and philosophies of Parrish Healthcare. Requirements: - Responsible for general order and cleanliness of the kitchen, dish room and storage areas. Sweeps and mops floors. Keeps all towels and soap dispensers clean and stocked. - Cleans and returns all pots and pans, china, flatware, trays, storage containers, utensils and other items in a timely manner and according to established procedures. Sets up and maintains 3 compartment sick. Maintains proper set-up throughout the shift to include adequate soap and sanitizer levels. Uses and records sanitizer test strip readings daily. Maintai...
