Description The Burn Center at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is seeking a burn surgeon to serve as Medical Director. Located in Baltimore, MD, the burn center is ABA-verified, Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services System (MIEMSS)-designated and the only adult burn center in the state of Maryland. The Medical Director will hold a faculty appointment at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership across the full continuum of burn care. This includes acute resuscitation, operative management, critical care management, rehabilitation, and outpatient follow-up. In partnership with interdisciplinary teams and hospital leadership, the Medical Director will lead quality improvement efforts and advance the center’s research and education programs. The role also includes supporting trainee development and promoting burn prevention, advocacy, and community outreach at the local, regional, and national levels.
