Title: Electrical Technician Instructor: Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice State Role Title: Trainer & Instructor II - 29112 Hiring Range: $76,809 to $94,369: Pay Band: 4: Agency: Department of Juvenile Justice: Location: Bon Air JCC: Agency Website: www.djj.virginia.gov/: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties: The instructor will provide quality educational programs through sound instruction to meet the individual needs of residents/students, as well as the standards defined under the Commonwealth’s statutes and program certification requirements. The Electrical Technician Instructor will provide instruction and engage students in a quality, competency-based program preparing students for entrylevel employment and/or post-secondary education. The selected candidate must be able to successfully complete the Department of Juvenile Justice-mandated training and certifications, including the three-week DJJ Basic Skills for Security located in Hanover, Virginia.
