The Commodity Value Optimization Specialist job responsibilities include but not limited to: - Manage Full Value Optimization responsibilities for assigned Direct Material Commodity areas within Serial Life - Coordination responsibility for any cost impact as a result of Purchasing Performance or Powertrain specific reduction or over-recovery - Ownership of assigned commodity supplier value optimization across full NA scope - Close coordination with ongoing Program actions to drive efficiencies and optimization of Serial Life production - Advanced understanding of supplier input into cost reduction activities - Working knowledge of program critical parameters into supplier selection process and management Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor Degree from an accredited university - Minimum 8 years of experience in related field - Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships - Must be well organized, self-motivated, capable of managing conflict, and resourceful when managing complex assignments - Must be comfortable and excel in a fast-paced environment - Results oriented and ability to lead cross-functional and global teams in issue resolution - Strong negoti...
