Purpose : The Laser Operator is responsible for operating a laser, loading and running the 2D programs for the laser, quality measurements, continuous improvement, and knowing how to start and stop the laser safely. The Laser Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the laser. Essential Functions: - Operate the machine in a safe manner - Perform quality first piece inspections - Separate the finished product from the skeleton - Load and Run programs set by the Laser Programmer - Responsible for the quality of the product. - 2D Program laser to nest parts for 2D cutting path - Load steel and unload parts from the laser and placed together per job order - Responsible for all material handli...
