Department: Library - Chiloquin Branch Job Posting: Library Assistant II - Part-Time/On-call Salary Range: $14.58- $15.92 per hour, depending on experience General Position Summary: Under the direction of the Branch Assistant and the supervision of the Library Department Supervisor, the Library Assistant II performs clerical and para-professional responsibilities in the operation of a Branch Library on a part-time/on-call basis. Essential Functions: The following duties may not be all-inclusive, and other responsibilities may be assigned: Stay updated on library policies and procedures, especially those related to branch libraries. Assist with programs for children, teens, and adults. Provide courteous and friendly assistance to patrons, including helping locate materials, access information, and use library computers and online materials. Offer assistance to patrons with impairments by helping them find suitable materials. Notify patrons about reserved, overdue, or damaged materials efficiently and courteously.
