​ Job Title: Research Staff - Plant & Wildlife Sciences - UTTR Project Manager Posting End Date: May 9, 2026 *NOTE: Last day to apply is Friday, May 8, 2026 @ 11:59 p.m. MST Position Start Date: June 1, 2026 Required Degree: A Bachelor of Science is required, preferably majoring in the field of wildlife biology, range management, or ecology. Master's preferred. The required degree must be completed by the start date. Experience: Applicants should have an education and background in plant and animal ecology and management, wildlife management, range science, soil science, or a combination of these fields. They should be familiar with working with plant and animal populations, collecting field-based data, and implementing monitoring practices. Preference will be given to those who have skills in trapping and handling wildlife, identifying bird, mammal, and plant species, and quantifying plant populations. Preference will also be given to those who have experience managing crews and technicians.
