Job description

This position is full time, days. The shift is Monday-Friday, at North Hospital. No on call or weekends. Responsible for applying ionizing radiation to patients for therapeutic purposes in accordance with the prescription and instruction of a radiation oncologist. Controls the exact amount of radiation to be administered locally, and reproduces treatment fields, ensuring that exposure is made only to prescribed areas. Requires high levels of quality control, safety, treatment planning and administration, patient care, and patient scheduling.
