Job Description: The work of an Airport Driver includes but is not limited to currently holding a CDL-Class A with hazmat endorsements—the ability to drive a tractor-trailer daily to accommodate a busy workload at the airport. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of an Airport Driver - include the following: warehouse to aircraft while adhering to strict safety regulations. - Transport cargo via 53’ trailer from various types of aircraft to warehouse or - Customer service oriented as you will be interacting with airline representatives and staff. - Other duties may be assigned. Minimum Requirements for an Airport Driver: - Must be at least 18 years of age. - Class A License - Minimum 1-2 years Trucking experience with manual transmission - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Excellent knowledge of Ramp Operations - Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills - Leadership ability - Customer focus and quality awareness - Ability to deal with conflict - Must pass a drug test/ background check and be able to obtain airport security clearance.
