Job Summary/Basic Function: The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a full-time, temporary (non-tenurable) faculty position (#145260) in religious studies, at the rank of lecturer. This is a one-year temporary appointment. The contract may be renewed annually based on available funding, demonstrated need, and satisfactory performance as assessed by annual evaluations. The appointment start date is August 1, 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching five courses each semester, but university service and research are not required.
