Bilingual (Teller) - ( 2600006E ) Description Teller (Bilingual) reports to Section Supervisor. This position would be responsible for receiving, processing and reconciling customer payments made through the mail, cash, and credit card for all MLGW customers, especially the customers who are Spanish speaking customers. The employee will also be responsible for balancing their Teller drawer throughout the day, as well as reconciling cash/checks for bank deposits. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Receive/ process cash payments from customers through utilization of the iNovah software system. Processing of petty cash reimbursements from MLGW employees and process claim invoices, water meter invoices, and general accounting invoices pertaining to work orders. Utilized the diebold system to receive and process checks, cash, money order and approved checks payments from customers toward their utility accounts through the drive-thru and over the counter. Utilize CIS for customer inquiries pertaining to their utility account. Interpret and execute credit card payment policy for customers using their credit card towards utility accounts.
