Job description

SUMMARY: Team leader coordinates and leads performance of production personnel and processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Promotes and maintains a safe work environment at all times. - Responsible for housekeeping and 5s activity in the area. - Responsible for product quality through auditing and verification of operator conformance to standards, quality systems, and manufacturing processes. - Audits products and scrap to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines or methods. - Facilitates continuous improvement with a focus on employee involvement. - Supports Supervisor in developing personnel through training, performance reviews, and other administrative duties. - Responsible for employee training, cross-training, and maintenance of training records. - Adjusts manpower assignments to meet production schedules. - Assures necessary materials and supplies are available and used appropriately for production. - Assists in the implementation of new procedures or processes to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. - Maintains production records. -...
