Job description

In the course of a vacancy, we are offering the following 2 positions within the Papermaking Department of WEPA UK as Papermaking Operator (PMO). Your responsibilities: Adhere to health and safety policies, procedures, and safe systems of work, including the use of PPE and reporting near misses. Ensure compliance with quality procedures to maintain product standards. Assist the PM Lead in the safe and efficient operation of the paper machine. Operate and monitor the papermaking process from Wet End to Reel End, including auxiliary systems. Perform blade changes, reel dressing, reel changes, core loading, and housekeeping activities. Conduct Wet End daily testing requirements and support product quality testing. Ensure correct product quality data is recorded and maintained. Support delivery of the production plan by ensuring timely and accurate machine bookings within the system. Monitor and manage machine efficiency (ME), sheet breaks, and waste levels.
