Job Summary: This position is responsible for performing entry level engineering work activities and projects requiring the application of engineering knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives. Job Description: What You'll Do: - Prepare/ review pipe stress analysis. - Qualify welded pipe attachments (WPA) and equipment nozzles. - Evaluate vibration impacts on piping systems. - Piping evaluation to support Flow Accelerated Corrosion (FAC) programs group. - Piping evaluation for added weight due to temporary conditions such as due to Lead shielding. - Qualify pipe supports using E/PD-STRUDL (or equivalent), STAAD, etc. - Evaluate Snubbers, Springs and Constant Supports settings. - Ability to identify, analyze, and solve routine technical problems related to piping and pipe supports. - Perform engineering evaluations of plant deficiencies and in support of plant modifications. - Perform walk downs in support of...
