Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a fulltime outpatient Ergonomic Physical Therapist to join our Work Hardening and Business Health Services team! What You'll Do: As an outpatient Ergonomic Physical Therapist, you will primarily focus on work hardening, functional capacity evaluations, and business health service needs to optimize work environments and body mechanics to reduce strain, prevent injury, and increase productivity. Our work hardening program is a highly structured individualized program designed to help patients return to their pre-injury work level in a safe and timely manner. It aims to help patients regain their biomechanical, cardiovascular, metabolic, neuromuscular and psychosocial functions in conjunction with their work tasks. It includes strengthening and flexibility exercises, cardiovascular conditioning, spine and joint stabilization exercises and job task training (i.e. pushing, pulling, crouching, lifting, bending, sitting, or twisting).
