Description The Department of Medicine, Section of H ematology/Oncology at Tulane University School of Medicine is actively recruiting a H ematologist with an interest in non-malignant hematology including hemostasis, thrombosis and platelet and red cell disorders . This faculty member will be expected to participate in the multi-disciplinary activities of the Louisiana Center for Bleeding and Clotting Disorders, a large, federally funded hemophilia treatment center . The ideal candidate will be able to participa te in the clinical, educational and research missions of the section and the Louisiana Center for Bleeding and Clotting Disorders , and will be expected to participate in the training of H ematology/ O ncology fellows, residents and medical students . Qualifications: - Candidates must qualify for appointment at the Assistant/A ssociate P rofessor level, be board certified in internal medicine and board eligible/certified in H ematology . - Applicants should have a record of excellence in clinical care as well as training in clinical research. - Rank and compensation will be commensurate with the level of qualifications and experience.
