Job Summary Provides a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment under the direction of a supervisor or team lead. Mostly involved with facilities construction, and refresh efforts, including painting, drywall repair, flooring, wall protection and other system finishes. Most work is performed as a team, alongside a finisher and or carpenter, but there may be independent work as well. Healthcare experience is highly recommended. The average work week will consist of Monday – Friday, however qualified candidates will have to be open to scheduled nights and weekend work. Participates in the overall building management program to provide high-quality, cost-effective service with a high emphasis on customer satisfaction. Essential Functions: Measuring up floor spaces: Working accurately from detailed plans and specifications Preparing the subfloor to receive the floorcovering. Using hand tools, power tools and specialist equipment Measuring, marking and cutting floorcoverings: Installing the final floorcoverings using a wide range of methods including seam welding of commercial sheet vinyl Working with adhesives: Removing old flooring: Working alongside other trades on commercial site...
