Foster care Caseworker Must Possess: Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year university in a social service related field required; one year of child-welfare related experience and/or training required. Experience working with adolescents is preferred. Reliable transportation, a State of Illinois Driver’s License, valid vehicle insurance and vehicle registration. State of Illinois CWEL (Child Welfare Employee License) and CERAP (Child Endangerment Risk Assessment Protocol) Certification preferred.
