Status Full-Time Standard Hours per Week: 40 Job Posting Category: Clinical: Job Posting Description: Position Summary: Manages all facets of mechanical ventilation and is a resource for respiratory care staff and health care team across all settings for CAPE patients. Provides various non-invasive and invasive respiratory therapies in inpatient, outpatient and emergency settings for all CAPE patients. Participation with the multidisciplinary CAPE staff on regular outpatient clinic sessions, home visit, off-site sessions at long-term care facilities. Key Responsibilities: - Develops, monitors, and maintains respiratory therapy standards of practice associated with the care of respiratory technology-dependent patients. - Develops, provides, and evaluates inpatient and outpatient education programs for clinical staff, patients, patients’ family members, and continuing care agencies. This includes internal CAPE programming as well as collaboration within the BCH system and affiliates. - Monitors operations and statistics of the CAPE Program, to ensure the attainment of program goals, compliance with regulatory agencies, and quality improvement initiatives. - Participates in profession...
