The Certified Peer Specialist will function as a role model to peers, exhibiting competency in personal recovery and use of coping skills, serving as a client advocate, and providing information and support to clients in their homes and other community settings. Facilitate group sessions teaching clients various topics related to recovery, wellness, self-esteem, healthy relationships, and overcoming fears.
