Day (United States of America) Licensed Practical Nurse- Hospice (Field) The Field Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care to hospice patients in a variety of settings and levels of care under the direct supervision of an RN. Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays as assigned to provide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week care assigned to a variety of teams/duties. Responsibilities include: All services will be provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as assigned to a variety of teams and duties. Nights and weekends. On-Call rotations as assigned. - Providing care to the terminally ill patient - Reinforcing patient and family training and education - Performing patient assessment and documentation - Participating in the comprehensive Interdisciplinary Plan of Care - Participating in the Quality Improvement activities JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Driver's license with a good driving record; Personal car in good working order Valid Florida license for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) BLS and IV certification per department requirement Minimum 1 year experience in Medical Surgery Nursing or equivalent Hospice experience preferred: Graduated from an accredited nursing program, must meet criter...
