Strive Centre Vancouver is currently looking for Recreation & Outreach Facilitators (Casual/On-call) who can fill shifts that are not covered. Shifts will occur between Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am-5:00pm . The position entails working within Strive Centre's recreation and outreach team, supporting Adults with Developmental, Concurrent Disorders, FASD, Autism, ABI and mental health issues, in a group and one-to-one capacity. The successful candidate would share their time between making connections in the community and linking participants to those connections as well as assisting individuals in the community and in their homes, to work towards their goals, teaching life skills, community integration and social skills. Strive is a non-profit registered charity providing residential and community inclusion support to children, youth, adults, and older adults throughout the Lower Mainland since 1988.
