Make a Real Impact. 🌟 Now Recruiting: Reablement Care Assistants – Dacorum & East Herts We’re looking for compassionate, reliable people to join our Welham Green Reablement team as Care Assistants. 🤔 What exactly is Reablement? Unlike traditional care where you might do things for a client, reablement is all about doing things with them. It is a specialized, short-term, intensive service (typically lasting up to 6 weeks) designed to help individuals recover and relearn daily skills—usually after a hospital stay, a fall, or a period of illness. Instead of simply making their cup of tea, you will encourage and physically support them to make it themselves, gradually stepping back as their strength and confidence grow. It is highly goal-oriented. You will track their progress, celebrate their daily milestones, and ultimately cheer them on as they regain the ability to live safely and independently without the need for long-term care!
