Pomperaug Woods is recruiting for a hospitality focused Sever to join our culinary team! This role provides full-scope, hands on serving functions within the community. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dining Room Server: - Sets tables and maintains workstations in proper order. - Takes orders, provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously. - Clears dishes from tables during and after meal service. - Ensures that all dining areas at maintained and kept in clean and sanitary condition. - Completes all assigned side work such as filling salt and pepper shakers, sugar/creamers, ice bins, making coffee, maintaining waitstaff stations, etc. - Restocks buffet tables as well as juice and coffee stations. - Answers pertinent questions about menu items.
