Job description

The Division of Blood & Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (BMT-CT) in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University seeks up to two physician-scientist to join the Division as Assistant, Associate or Full Professor in the University Medical Line (UML). We are particularly interested in candidates who have an outstanding record (or potential record) of accomplishment in clinical care, teaching, and a focused area of research activity in multiple myeloma and related plasma cell disorders. The candidate should have significant clinical and/or translational research. The candidate will be expected to provide outstanding ambulatory and inpatient clinical care. The predominant criteria for appointment in the Univerity Medical Line are excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.
